The Alpaca Registry, Inc., headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska manages
the Registry database for all registered alpacas in the United States
and for many other alpacas throughout the world. The Registry houses
the genealogy and pedigree information about registered alpacas dating
back to its inception in the 1980's. The database is used to track
parentage and bloodlines of alpacas in order to increase their value
and help alpaca owners make wise breeding and purchasing decisions. ARI
is a closed DNA registry and currently only registers alpacas whose DNA
can be verified back to ARI registered parents. For more information
