Established in 1993, the year Peruvian Suri alpacas first entered the U.S., Humming Hill was one of the first farms in this country to breed pure Peruvian Suri alpacas.
All Humming Hill alpacas have a Peruvian pedigree, attesting to superior Peruvian genetics. In fact, the super suri breeding stock at Humming Hill is represented by genetics from the famed Accoyo, Abel Condori, Fredy Velez and Macusani farms in Peru. Our American progeny of pedigreed animals continue to produce championship show quality suris.
Suri alpacas comprise only 1% of the worlds entire alpaca population. Because of their rarity and exotic nature, the Suri alpaca is
considered the ultimate investment for the discriminating buyer.
