Animal Description:
This Full Accoyo male was the winner of The Get Of Sire at AOBA National show 2006. In addition he received First Place at the International Alpaca Odyssey in CA in 2006, as well as First Place at Empire Alpac Extravaganza. In addition, Lafite was awarded White Herdsire of the Year 2007 and 2008 At the All American Futurity. This is the most difficult class to win for any male Suri.
Lafite's male offspring are highly sought after and very few are available. Prices have reflected the quality of these superior males. Even the half Accoyo males have sold for up to $150,000.
Baron Lafite represented what could be achieved in nine years of breeding experience with full Accoyo Peruvian Suris in North America. Humming Hill traveled from California to New Jersey looking for the most perfect, next generation, Accoyo to breed with Ramilo's offspring. The Fisco's looked at almost twenty full Accoyo males before making their selection. Lafite's fleece and conformation were unsurpassed. He had such tight locks to the skin that the feeling was that they were not locks but rather coiled corkscrews. One of the top suri judges in the world commented, "I have never seen fleece like Lafites except at the Accoyo farm in Peru." Accoyo Lafite had never received anything less than a championship or First Place. With great regret Humming Hill announced the death of Lafite in 2007. His death has placed an even greater demand for the purchase of his progeny.
